My name is Kathy Stager. I learned to sew at the age of 10. My grandfather and great-grandfather were tailors in Cleveland, Ohio. They taught my mother how to sew, and she taught me. I sewed in the 4-H program through elementary and high school. I was the lead seamstress for the East Palmyra Christian School drama department from 2014 to 2021. After that, I worked as a full-time professional industrial seamstress from 2022 to 2025.Â
Through the years, I have designed and sewn:
Costumes for middle school and high school theater productions.
Alterations on formal wear, including bridesmaids' dresses and prom dresses,
Alterations for friends and family, such as hemming, adjusting necklines, etc.
Halloween costumes for children and adults.
Curtains, handbags, and other accessories.
At last, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of opening up my own sewing repair business. Sewing is what I love to do, and I would love to sew for you!
