About Me

My name is Kathy Stager. I learned to sew at the age of 10. My grandfather and great-grandfather were tailors in Cleveland, Ohio. They taught my mother how to sew, and she taught me. I sewed in the 4-H program through elementary and high school. I was the lead seamstress for the East Palmyra Christian School drama department from 2014 to 2021. After that, I worked as a full-time professional industrial seamstress from 2022 to 2025. 

Through the years, I have designed and sewn:

• Costumes for middle school and high school theater productions.

• Alterations on formal wear, including bridesmaids' dresses and prom dresses,

• Alterations for friends and family, such as hemming, adjusting necklines, etc.

• Halloween costumes for children and adults.

• Curtains, handbags, and other accessories.

At last, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of opening up my own sewing repair business. Sewing is what I love to do, and I would love to sew for you!
